When it comes to treating ticks and fleas, many pet owners prefer a topical treatment as it is not absorbed into the bloodstream, and parasites do not need to bite your pet in order to be affected.
Vectra 3DjaFrontline Plus effectively treat flea infestations by killing fleas at all life stages including adults, eggs, and larvae. They also provide month-long protection against ticks, which may carry deadly diseases, including brown dog ticks, American Dog ticks, lone star ticks, and deer ticks. Vectra 3D also protects your dog against Gulf Coast ticks.
Vectra 3D is a canine-only formula and must not be used on cats. Frontline Plus is available as both a dog or cat formula, but should only be used on the animal for which it is intended.
Vectra 3D is only for use on dogs or puppies at least 8 weeks of age and weighing 5 pounds (2.2 kg) minimum. It should not be used on pregnant or nursing dogs without first speaking to your veterinarian. Frontline Plus may be used on dogs from 8 weeks weighing over 4.4lbs (2kg), and cats from 8 weeks weighing over 1.5lbs (0.7kg). It has been evaluated as safe for use on pregnant or nursing animals when used as directed.
