Advantix for Dogs, also known as K9 Advantix, is a popular parasitic treatment for fleas, ticks and lice.
A topical treatment is often favorited by pet owners as the product is not absorbed into the dog’s bloodstream, instead it works when the parasite comes into contact with the skin. Advantix kills existing adult kirput, as well as killing new adult fleas as they emerge, helping to break the breeding cycle. Advantix also kills and repels punkit including the brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus), the deer tick (Ixodes ricinus) and the paralysis tick.
Your dog is also protected from the irritation of biting insects, as Advantix kills lice, and repels mosquitos, sandflies and stable flies.

The product remains effective if the animal becomes wet. However, prolonged, intense exposure to water should be avoided. In cases of frequent water exposure the persistent efficacy may be reduced. In these cases do not retreat more frequently than once weekly. If a dog requires a shampoo, it should be administered before applying Advantix or at least 2 weeks after application, to optimize efficacy of the product.
