    Samoin niin monet muut loiset, Stronghold on heartworm ehkäisevä, mutta se ei käsittele, jos koirallasi on jo sydänmyrkky. Siksi olisi suositeltavaa testata koirasi, jos hänellä on sydänmyrkky ennen kuin aloitat sen käytön.
